BPT Low Pressure Casting Machine

Traversing upper machine member for easy die replacement.

In this low pressure casting machine, the 4+4 column vertical press has a system that allows the automatic traverse of the upper part of the press.

Mold replacement is then made very easily and time-effective with the use of the bridge crane, thus avoiding the use of forklifts or other handling equipment that can interfere with the machine frame.




The electric holding  refractory furnace, with proportional pressurization control, is brought to working temperature by three heating elements protected by APM tubes made of sintered steel.

The casting ejection is hydraulically operated and a rotary arm catches the piece and removes it from the press by swiveling outwards, thus guaranteeing maximum safety for the operator. Thermal control of the mold is achieved through a system of 8 separate circuits (air, water, or a mix) and PLC managed.
